Ombratilità

uncovering
a leapfrog light
that solarplates
the slope of thisandthat
across septembered violins
and beats the break of beetlebrahms
between the butter-brailled softaired moon
with shimmer-flicks,
magneticblue blown in
to syncopated lemon jazz,
a pace of sky retraced
to fibrous-heddled sandtidestrides
and honeyed hearts
that burnish insandouts
to new e valuations
of
the
drape-as-not-the-darkness
but
just
the
shadowed
play
of
life
upon
itself

"...of a world somewhere between light and darkness,
a zone that avoids conflict and makes its space with quiet
discretion - a quality that children like very much."
(Loris Malaguzzi)
