that he considers to be profound countries, and that are his countries....
that he does not find by traveling." (Gilles Deleuze)

Hello...

It is an etching...hard ground on copper.
I love this process because it always plays
the repetition of a difference.

"Such is rhythm. Landing, splashdown, takeoff...It is the difference that is rhythmic, not the repetition..." (D&G, ATP)

...and thank you for asking...

I can't say that I'm familiar with that process, but interesting; in a vague sense, the figures remind me of those in a piece that's part of the musee de l'art brut collection.

what are the dimensions? and was GD the inspiration for it, or was it a fitting quote?

and yes... hello; I've sort of been poking around.

I don't know that collection.

This print is 16"x 12"...

and was made before I found the quote.
It's only fitting since I have always liked the notion of travelling in place and the best writers have that ability to transport the reader elsewhere, effortlessly...through the eyes of someone else's perceptions across time and space. On a page.

The specific confluence of this image with this quote originated as a sign of respect for someone I once knew. He could do that too.

I appreciate your questions.
